Memory Stars

These originally started as a custom request from a lovely customer who asked me to make some sparkly stars for her and her family to hang on their Christmas trees in memory of a much-loved Husband and Father. Some time later I was then asked to make some more by her friend to remember their lost loved ones. It was such a privilege and honour to be asked to do this. I made some for my Family and my own tree when the time came in memory of my dearest Dad, always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.

I now make these stars only for this reason. Each is completely unique, a little way to remember those we love but who are no longer with us. I have met so many wonderful people, we have laughed, cried and shared memories through the purchase of a star – it is truly humbling that you have embraced the idea and these little stars are now spreading far and wide.

Farleigh Hospice looked after my Dad and making and selling my Memory starts has become my way of giving a little back to help support the incredible work they do supporting patients and their families facing life-limiting illness and end of life care in Chelmsford and the Mid-Essex area.
Memory Stars are available to buy from August each year in person at my events or you can place an order for posting (a small charge is made to cover the postal costs) In 2024 I made 65 stars and they all sold very quickly – I am hoping to make 100 for 2025. Memory Stars cost £8 each with £4 from every sale being donated to Farliegh Hospice (Charity Number 284670)
